Worst Bond Girl

Denise Richards is oft listed as being the worst Bond girl - she was okay for me,though. Personally,I liked most of them,and off hand I can't think of one that was really bad. Maybe Tanya Roberts in A View To A Kill - nice looking,but a bit plankish. Also it has been commented on the lack of success some of them have achieved since being in a Bond film.

My personal faves are Halle Berry and Daniella Bianchi.

Grace Jones and Tanya Roberts were bad .... Britt Ekland comes a close third. My favourites are Izabella Scorupco and Carole Bouquet.

Barbara Bach far and away the worst. Sophie Marceau was my favourite. Although come to think of it she was the baddie so doesn't count. Hmm.

Lynn Holly Johnson...though it wasn't her fault. Her casting was a gimmick. Sports champion, not an actress.



My favorite was Carole Bouquet.

Tanya Roberts was memorably bad. My own pet hate was Kim Basinger who was given too much screen time in the lamentable Never Say Never Again.

Nobody seems to have mentioned THE worst Bond girl - Honor Blackman! She seems to have made a 'career' out of her inflated opinion of herself in one film.

Have to say that I thought Rosamund Pike came straight out of the timber yard with her Bond performance.



Have seen her do better since, so it might have been the way the role was written.



By far the naffest female appearance in a Bond though was Madonna as her (implied) lesbian fencing coach. Diabolical- one of the worst post Cubby gimmicks exploited by the production team.
