    Went to Eccles last night to hear a 2/20 Wurlitzer being played at the Lancastrain Theatre Organ Soc. Just like a 1930s kinema, with rising keyboard console and musical accompaniment to Laurel & Hardy filums! Blinking marvellous!

    Alas there is only one Organ in a London Cinema to give public performances and that is in the Odeon Leicester Square.It is a ComptonTher is also the organ in the New Gallery(Habitat)Regent Street.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Panavision has already been there as it's even nearer to him than Eccles!!

    Blimey, Orpheum, only one in London!?



    And, yes, Tom, I've seen it at the Plaza! I also went there last Feb to see Ken Dodd. Gave up at 12.45am due to pins and needles in legs - but Ken was still going strong!
