As the full catalogue of RKO is edited (10€ le DVD), I had the great pleasure to watch my first film by La Cava, "Primrose Path".......it's an amazing movie, with Ginger Rogers and Joel Mc Crea.....

Only recently started paying him attention - a superb director of comedy. His is the one truly great WC Fields feature - as opposed to series of sketches - 'So's Your Old Man'....Primrose Path was one of his last films - his directing career went back to WW1.

I hope to see one day "My Man Godfrey" and one which I don't remember the tittle, with Melvin Douglas (another commun point with Lubitsch) in it ....
