    Hi.

Does anyone else love this movie? As you can see by my Christmas avator, I do

I love Michael Caine in it, and the way the rats scribble with thier quills which are in fact bigger than them

I enjoyed when I watched it with my daughter recently. The Muppets creators always did include humour that would appeal to adults too. I think the story was kept pretty much intact.

It's a great family movie. Michael Caine is excellent in it, as he is in most comedies - "Without a Clue" is bloody good.

I enjoyed the earlier series' of the Muppet Show. The Star Wars episode with the entire cast was very good. In fact, I've still got that on disk somewhere...

For some reason, Beaker makes me laugh till I cry. As does the Swedish Chef. :)

I love it - classic line from the fruit and vegatables as they are being grabbed by a thief near the beginning 'Help me I am being stolen...!' It was a great movie and I watch it every Xmas.

It is a shame that the subsequent films have all been rather poor efforts mainly due to very unfunny scripts.

The ATV series The Muppets is over due for repeating on British television series.

At Jim Henson's funeral, there was Kermit sitting somewhere, silent with a note on him saying "I've lost my voice."

What a coincidence. I watched this film yesterday with my niece and great-nephew. It was the first time he'd watched it and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bought this at the Woolies closing down sale for a fiver. A very funny film and Henry Mancini's theme tune is very jolly and catchy too.

I agree entirely, seems to be very under rated film, perhaps I love this one with being a Holmes fan

I would never have chosen to watch a Muppets Christmas Carol, but , having children, I had no choice! Much to my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it - there is lots for adults, too. I thought the dialogue was excellent - including the little asides to the audience. Faginsgirl, you are not alone, judging from the responses!

It's the Archbishop of Canterbury's favourite film (well, joint favourite with Andrei Rublev)

He wasn't at home when we saw A Canterbury Tale in Canterbury Cathedral. Maybe he doesn't like that one

Maybe it reminds him of work too much seeing his office on film like that

This is always enjoyable and a less scary version of Dickens for young viewers - esp. ghost of Xmas future. My daughter (8) was in tears yesterday over Tiny Tim but she's a bit tired and emotional anyway right now.

As mentioned, a largely underrated movie with a decent cast and Caines performance as a drunken Holmes is as good as you'll get.
