Default The Movie Stock Market of Glomex

It seems that somebody is intent on starting up a stock market for movie projects. Investors buy shares in vetted movie projects which use the money for budget.

I haven't looked into it much yet, but if its on the up and up, could this be the idea which jolts the ever-fading British Film Industry into some vitality... or just loses both investors and film-makers money which ends up in the hands of Glomex?

Its probably not going to take off... however, taking it on face value, it does seem that it could be a good idea.

I have a colleague who is looking to contact Glomex regarding raising finance for his first feature. I hope it works out for him, as he has dedicated the last 18 months of his life to the story. I will try and get some information.
