Problem with the cheaper sets is they often skimp on sound quality

This may be a good deal but without the full spec. it's very hard to judge. I suspect the contrast ratio is quite low which would have a significant effect on the picture quality.
With LCD and Plasma, LED etc., price isn't everything.
