That's the only picture I could find that might have given an idea of the effect of these sheets. If anyone has any pics of this effect I would love to see them.

I was watching colour television way before that!

I used to watch B&W television through those brightly coloured see-through toffee wrappers.
I think the make of toffees were MacIntosh's or something like that. Excellent toffees they were too.

Looking at the ad I see the company that is making that screen is called "Lee". I guess that must be the same company that makes camera lense filters for film and still cameras today, they are an industry standard "Lee Filters" as they are callled and they produce very expensive graduated and colour effect and correction square filters usually made of glass or resin, that fit in front of the film camera lense. I bet they would rather forget the experiment with the TV screen filter!
