    Hi fellow members......
Can anyone advise on the best way to clean DVD's....cloths or solutions required?
Also do any members use a cleaning disc in their players......?
No matter how careful you are, discs can get grubby fingerprints etc on them from time to time.......
    Any advice great fully accepted...
    Cheers

A quick polish with a clean duster always works for me. I never use a cleaning disc in any of my players.

Thanks didi.......I seem to remember somewhere that you have to clean them from the centre to the outer edge......?
    Is this really necessary ?

this might be of Interest Sgt

"Cleaning a CD should always be done by wiping the disc from the centre to the outer edge in a straight motion -- discs should never be rubbed in a circular motion as this can cause tiny scratches in the plastic coating which may throw off the laser reading head during playback,"

We use MONSTER SCREEN CLEAN on a LINT FREE CLOTH.
Lay the disc on a flat surface, clean the disc from edge to edge and never round and round.
    Happy days!
