Has anyone else been having problems with pages freezing when using Chrome browser. Only does it occasionally but it can be a pain sometime.

We have had terrible problems with Google Chrome and have stopped using it. Someone recommended Opera which, although it uses Google, has improved the situation.

Agree Bats, Opera is my favourite, it's fast and can be set up easily with Thunderbird mail. Watching tv, Opera or Google seem to be better than Firefox which seems to always be buffering. Also not keen on the way Google look as if they're taking over the world, the KFC of the browser planet.

Funnily enough Flash works fine with Chrome on my computer but when I try to use it on IE it tells me that I don't have it on my computer.

    Pleasure

The only downside with Opera is that if they release a new browser update version it can be a bit buggy so if I'm happy with the one I've got I tend not to update straight away but leave for a month or so just to let the bugs be corrected.

The only weird thing I have noticed is that when I type @ I get " and vice versa - presumably this is a bug ?

Could be that the default language for the Opera browser is set to English (US) rather than English (UK) which would mean that it reads a few keystrokes differently.
