HD tv's - Britmovie

Can anybody advise me on the best make of HD tv's. I'm considering a Sony Bravia, although I hear the Panasonic Viera is a better quality product. Any views welcome. Ian

I have heard good things about both, but if I were purely to go by brand at identical prices I would choose Panasonic. Sonies do tend to burn out more quickly.

SAMSUNG LCDs usually come out well in reviews - go for the latest models (1080p ?) rather
than the (often discounted) earlier models.

Don't waste your time on any screen less than 37" , as you won't really benefit much from viewing HDtv....
