Hi Monsterscud, maybe this will help.
Converting the AVI format to crystal clear DVD format is now a piece of cake. There are several free and commercial pieces of software available that makes the conversion of AVI to DVD format quick and easy. You can use video converting software such as ConvertXtoDVD to make your AVI files DVD compatible; the software is available for free, but the free version has a transparent company logo in the background. After buying the software, the watermark vanishes. Regards Chris b |

AVI files are not the best quality - they are very heavily compressed so the results will be variable to say the least. I take it you're referring to a download of some sort.
The simplest way to burn to DVD is via Toast. DVD Releasing + Extras Production |

Yes the AVI files are downloads. I am not too bothered about the quality at the moment. I'll bare the Toast programme in mind, thank you. I must admit I haven't had chance to try any of the programmes out yet, I think I will have to go for what ever is the easiest.
