I've just had to get one for work and we opted for Dell as there were a couple of specific requirements we had that wouldn't be met by an off-the-peg company.

Seems to be fine after a couple of months use.

All the people at our company use Dell as well - they do a very good service/support package

That played a part as well

Hopefully, it won't be needed. My pc is from them as well and I've had no problems.

It's just good extra insurance. It's nice to know that you can get it back to a working state quickly when you need it. I've had to call them out once on this laptop and they had it all back working in an hour or two with the appropriate parts replaced. All part of the standard deal
