Hi,
Try using an older VCR (top loaders are great) They often don't see the encryption and if you get one with good heads you will get a great copy. Don't worry if the heads are poor as most are still available and they are dead easy to change, most other problems that you would encounter can be traced back to rubber belts and idlers....all easy to change too! One day the whole world will be using vintage VCR equipment Well, i can but try.My top VCR's include Ferguson 3V29/30 and National Panasonic NV333 or 366. All of these are easy to get spares for and give great results. All the best, Chris. |
