Default Image Grabbing - Windows Vista

Getting to grips with Vista at the mo and am having probs grabbing images from DVDs to the picture gallery - any advice ?

Do you use VLC? (found at VideoLAN - Free and Open Source software and video streaming solutions for every OS!). That makes it dead easy as you just hit Snaphot and it automatically saves the screenshot in your picture folder (or wherever you tell it to).

Have you enabled the the snipping tool that comes with Vista? I usually use that with no problems.



Once you enable it, it's in your system tray at the bottom so just pause your media player click on Snipping Tool & snip away, then save as
