I recently bought this vhs/dvd recorder to make backups of some of my videos but it won't copy Macrovision protected tapes.
Does anyone know of a way around this? |

As far as I am aware Macrovision protection can be overcome using an appropriate scart lead. However, you have an all in one system which probably doesn't allow you to do this as the connection is internal and fixed. You may need a separate video recorder to play the tapes and feed the output into the DVD recorder via the scart. Good luck.
Cheers, A

Thanks for your speedy replies.
I know that the macro can be disabled on some players via a remote control hack and I have trawled the web to no avail. It looks like the seperate video and the scart then. Thanks again |
