I used the trial version of TSUNAMI MPEG DVD AUTHOR PRO and quite liked it's functions (haven't bought it yet though.)

If an idiot like me can use it, anyone can. The trial runs for 30 days l you should find it via Google...

I'm with you on this S. Nice little prog. and simple to use. You can work directly from VOBs too. A definite improvement over TMPGEnc DVD author.

Cheers,
A

I have not tried the trial version yet but this certainly looks like it has a few nice options over the standard version. May I ask if you have tried the new feature that adds music to menu's? This was always very fiddly with the old version and I never really bothered with it.

I use TDA myself and quite like it as it rarely runs into compatability trouble. Tsunami looks an improvement (the TDA menu's were very limited) and I'll give it a whirl if it's not too expensive.

I've had a little fiddle with it and I quite like the added features plus the more precise editing that can be done now. I notice there is a 15% discount at the moment if purchasing the downloadable version $85 or £50 in real money I might just release a few moths
