Just clear out your cookies and open up as many accounts as you like, keep your same email address just change your password.
All rental companies that offer unlimited rental packages will operate a 'choke back' policy if your are turning dvd's rentals round very quickly. This is clearly stated in their terms and conditions

this is in fact a very good idea which I must confess I had not thought of , I had not realized that rental company's operated this choke back system bit of a diddle really as they are supposed to be offering unlimited rentals !!!!!! which I find very misleading, the dice are certainly loaded against anyone trying to maximize there rental fortunately I have a list of about 40 rental dvds and once I have watched these I wont bother renting anymore I am not in the least interested in looking at the latest blockbuster !! these days I live quietly in the past

Just thought I'd say that I've been renting 4 DVDs a month from Amazon for a couple of years now and never had any problems at all. Moreover, their cheapest rental package has now dropped in price to £3.99, and having a rental account can get you discounts on DVD purchases.

Just been having a look and they are indeed excellently priced. Do they have a good selection including the Network titles etc? Think I might sign up for a trial.

where you lead DB I will follow !! I have also been having a look at Amazons packages, at the moment Blockbuster have managed to send me 8 dvds on my 2 weeks free trial, but there was a bank holiday in that which caused me to lose 2 discs so it would have been 10 of course you can rent extra dvds along side your chosen package, if Blockbuster dont deliver a good service then I will try Amazon

Prices quoted on the site are:
£3.99 for 2 DVDs per month (1 at home at a time)
£5.99 for 3 DVDs per month (1 at home at a time)
£7.99 for 4 DVDs per month (2 at home at a time)
£9.99 for 6 DVDs per month (3 at home at a time)

That's not bad as I rarely view more in a month.

the £3.99 would be a good top up rental for me, and I must admit Amazon look to have a really good large list of rentals Blockbuster have been lacking in some of the titles that I want

Default Blockbuster Service

well I thought I would keep you all informed of how since I changed to Blockbuster !! it has performed and whilst not as bad as Love film a week after the free trial was over sure enough the shenanigans started, first off they stopped sending me stuff from the top few on my list !!! I have the two at a time unlimited rental package, why they call it this is wrong for it is not unlimited, twice this week they have only sent out I disc instead of two, explanation my 40 disc choice is not enough, this morning I got my disc and when I took it out it was completely smashed but no damage to the packing ??? rang customer services at 9 this morning and was assured they would send another disc out today, ha ha they never even bothered !!!! I felt a prat for even believing them,
so out of the six discs I expected this week I got only 3 with one that did not play and one smashed and one missing as they could not bother to send it, I shall give them a mouthfull in the morning as customer services are open till 12, not that it will do any good my billing comes up on the 15 of this month and I will be canceling my account, I am paying for two films at a time and not getting them !!! after all if you went and put a gallon of petrol in your car and the garage charged you for two I dont expect you would be very happy, also the state of there discs is disgusting, and you have to polish like mad to even get them to play !!my only consolation that when they have mucked everyone about they will go out of business.

that was very difficult to read because you've hardly bothered putting in any punctuation and it makes the post seem like you are out of breath anyway you should have stuck to tesco because they are still performing

I reckon Blockbuster is the best online rental service because if you rent a tv series that comes on 2 DVD's it counts as 1 selection, unlike other rental services such as LoveFilm who only send 1 disc at a time from a tv series.
I have 2 online rental accounts with Blockbuster & LoveFilm, although LoveFilm seems to be a pain in the backside on recieving returned DVD's, I have had about 7 discs go missing which ive sent back, this only happens when I return 2 or 3 in the same envelope, so now i've gone back to returning 1 disc per envelope.

Strewth... I tend to watch at least 15-20 movies per month ... I'll stick to buying.

PS... I used to watch many more movies before I had children. I'd often watch three movies back to back in a night... that's in the past now. Mind you, earlier this week I watched three movies together in a night... but that's rare now.

If plans work out, I'll be watching two movies tonight.

I phoned Blockbuster this morning and they have given me 2 more weeks free rental so I feel a little better towards them, so they get the benefit of the doubt at the moment,
They did however tell me they have been losing loads of discs lately, whereby if you have sent back more than one disc in a single envelope when they receive them, there is only one in the envelope, I sent back two and they only got one !! so thought I still had the other disc, the envelopes are very easy to open and reseal it does not take much imagination to know what is in these type of envelopes how true all this is I dont know
