That's weird. There are several missing posts.
I would recommend getting this done by a professional lab. The cost will be high. Suggest you go to digital betacam or another digital format. If you want some suggested labs then PM me.
What is the total amount of footage / time?
Hi,
It's 2 hours. It's an english friend who has the reels and I think she has found a local film archive. And the cost is very high.
Thanks :)

if you wanted a very cheap temporary measure you could employ a technique used by video pirates in the far east. ie. you could project the film on a good quality projection system and film it with a good quality DV camera pointing at the screen. The quality may not be brilliant but it would be watchable in the meantime until you could get a proper transfer. Just a thought. I would imagine a proper transfer would cost thousands.
