LoveFilm DVD Rentals

I've used LoveFilm for a couple of years now - excellent service overall (must have been lucky - only a few faulty discs in that time, and I must have borrowed 300+). Agree it's a pity about the Network titles - am currently working my way through the Odeon backlist instead....

Lovefilm are not very good at replenishing out of stock items, I have had a few dozen on my list for over a year, some nearly two years.

Lovefilm told me they had items so long out of stock as didn't have licence to rent them out, but I replied that they HAD stocked some of the items for rental so must have had a licence!. They also told me they could not stock anything released by NETWORK yet they already do duh !

They used to be able to rent out Network stuff and presumably have plenty in stock from them but Network withdrew their rental licence a couple of years ago. I guess Lovefilm are hoping they'll change their mind.

Aah that explains a lot, but this was more recent than two years and they had some NETWORK stuff
