Can anyone help?

I have a dae woo dvd, Hitachi VCR, Goodman Tv and Sky box all with two scart sockets.

How do I connect them all together; the instruction books give conflicting advice.

I manage to get three together but never four; I have a wide selection of Rf and scart cables.

Also how can I change daewoo to accept other region DVDs?

Thank you very much.

Easy solution is to buy a >> Scart Switch Box <<

And for your Daewoo DVD, just find your model number on the following pages and follow the instructions to make it region free.

I'm presuming that one socket is 'scart in' and the other 'scart out' on each of your pieces of equipment.

Think of them as beads for a necklace and use the scart cables to connect the beads together like a thread. You simply have to follow the thread through.

Its tricky, not being able to see your setup, but try this order.

Sky box scart out to VCR scart in.
VCR scart out DVD scart in.
DVD scart out to TV scart in.

So long as the VCR and DVD can let feed through or switch to let feed through, then this arrangement should work... (and that's without even utilizing your scart switch box).

And that's just using scarts. You can also make use of the RF cable from your Sky box straight to the TV if you like (presuming a Sky box has an RF out... (I've never seen a Sky box and so am presuming its like a Virgin Media Cable box).

In the end this is all just guess work on my part since I cannot see your equipment. Sorry if it doesn't work... but its possible that it will

Best wishes to you.

Shame on you, Bats. And shame on me for understanding it.

Sounds like you ought to exchange it for a Daewoo cd drawer that closes properly or get the shop to give you your money back!!!
