Roberts Sound 41 Stereo Radio Recorder with 7 day EPG
HTH.
Until it gave up the ghost recently, I had an old style music centre which had the facility to record on to audiotape via a timer facility radio programmes on FM/AM and LW ie like a VCR it could record programmes at the time of broadcast for listening to later.
Once it had broken, it seemed to me that I would seek a machine with similar facilities but with DAB radio. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find any such machine on the market. Does anyone know of any such machine and where I might purchase it?
Thanks

I asked basically the same question on here about a month ago and was recommended something called The Bug Too, which does all that the Roberts does for less money (about 80 quid). I bought one and it's bloody marvellous and extremely easy to use.
Here's a link to the previous discussion:

But the Bug only records to MP2 and then you have to convert it - is that a bit of a performance? I'm also not clear whether the Roberts records to MP3?
Sorry about the questions...

I don't think there are any radios that record direct to MP3, mainly because the music industry would jump on the manufacturer........

It's nowt of a job to convert the files - there are various bits of freeware on line to download. Try googling MP2 to MP3 converter.
Many thanks for those suggestions - I'll have a look at the options mentioned.
