Because he/she it does read here. Doesn't matter. Probably not the best of ideas.

Thats a problem with email though. Its sometimes difficult to interpret the senders meaning. Email is a wonderful and useful tool for communicating in different timezones but cannot be relied on 100% of the time as it can be easily misunderstood which is one of the reasons I (and most other people I assume) use smileys. In personal conversation we rely on body language to convey a large part of our message and this is the part that is missing with mail or posting on threads.

The internet is the same as a computer as in its a good tool but we should recognise its weaknesses as well.

name='DB7']So what's the point apologising. If I apologised to Steve Crook for calling him an errant Wurzel on a TR7 fansite - what would be the point as he'd never read it.

I've been waiting for you to apologise for that comment.

    Thank you

    What's a TR7?

All cars look remarkably alike to me. Most have a wheel at each corner and a little nut behind the wheel

I was on a site dedicated to an American Comics author. It's a beautiful site, graphicaly and it gives you lots of informations, links, drawings...etc

So I have a look on the forum sometimes (last post is: May 5th, hum)......AND....what a surprise, it happened that all threads were spoiled by porn publicity ( Viagra, nude women in bed, ejaculating penis...etc )

    I think it's shoking because

    - The administrator(s) allow this (it's not deleted "very quickly")

    - If I want to see porn, then I'll go to a porn site, otherwise it "invades" my space like any commercial

    - They were bad photos

It's not easy to prevent, much of it originates from China and they use bots that automatically complete the registration process. I stop a few every day (most use 1st, Jan, 1980, as a birthdate).
