That's your first mistake, getting a machine with Vista on it. There are lots of problems reported with it. Can you change it for a system running XP?name='marker']Hi all a bit of help needed I have a new pc running vista I downloaded open office as my word 2000 would not work on vista.
I then typed out my list as a text doc in open office so far so good but when I want to send the list by email and add it as an attachment the recipient cant open it !! can someone help me on this I never had this prob with word and xp. all help appreciated![]()
Did you save the file as a text file and try to attach it or try to copy and paste it into the email or did you try to email it from within Word?
