    Hi there,

I'm hoping someone here can help.

I have about 30 DL ISO files on my hardrive which I had initially wanted

to burn to DL discs. I have now changed my mind. Is there any way of shrinking an already existing DL ISO file to fit a single layered DVD?

Does anyone know of any software that will do this? I've already searched the net without success.

Before you ask, I have not got the DVDs anymore, only the ISO files.

    Many thanks

Burn your DL ISO as a double layer disc to a folder on your hard drive (don't burn it onto a disc). Now reopen the "burned" files (IFO, VOBs etc) in Shrink and this time save it as a single layer compilation to a second new folder in the form of an ISO file. Then use your burning software to burn this single layer ISO to a single layer blank disc.

    JohnB, you're a genius! (or I'm a fool)

Has worked like a dream. The trouble was that I tried opening my ISO files through Shrink (which it didn't recognise) rather than do what you suggested and go down the right click open with option.

    Many thanks.
