Have they restored the full autopsy sequence ? I am not being morbid, but it was so badly done it ruined that part of the film. The badly edited scene even ended up on the DVD.

Do you mean the cutaway, where Hooper holds up the arm and say's "..and this is what happens" which doesn't seem to have anything to do with the scene as a whole. If so, then no they haven't it's still there.
