I read somewhere that there is to be a sequel to the film based on the character Mr Bean, by Rowan Atkinson and his co-writers

Apparently this one will be "more British" than the first. I assume that just means it will be based entirely in the UK.

I quite liked the first one... but I don't think this one will match it as expectations will be high and I'm not sure how much more mileage they can get out of the "funniness" of Mr Bean.
who knows though... it might be absolutely
One for the children anyway

..Jonny English might be coming back too....

I am fond of Mr. Bean's sui generis humour and glad with the news of a sequel to his first movie, which was funny, witty but Americanised, unlike the entire series that thrust him into stardom.

Some scenes will be shot in Steve Crook's house, just for punishment.

A lot of people say it was Americanised. What do they mean by that?
I suppose... The humour.. and the screenplay(?)

It was probably deliberately aimed at the US for marketing. That's where the real money is
I hope we'll see some new jokes (and not repeats from the TV series)

Agreed,Steve - like Ricky Gervais,I think Rowan Atkinson is very over rated and Mr Bean was woefully unfunny
