On local television last night, there was a programme called Dales Diary,in which Tyne Tees reporter Luke Casey (father of Midsummer Murders' Daniel Casey) visits places and people mainly in the Yorkshire Dales, but it does spread into the North York Moors and coastline.
Anyway, last night he visited a place somewhere between Whitby and Scarborough and met the former punk rock promotor and now vicar/writer GP Taylor, who wrote the fantasy novels Shadowmancer amd Wormwood. Universal have snapped up the rights of Shadowmancer for £2.5M and will be turning it into a film. Does anyone know much about this film, although Michael Caine and Sean Bean's names were mentioned?
