I like the look of it .... the 'rogue Bond' reminded me more of Dalton in LTK than Bourne.

This one looks good. I like how it carries on with the Vesper story.

Is it just me or do James Bond now resemble an action film rather then a mission adventure?

They have always had lots of action, IMHO th Brosnan films pushed the series into 'action films' but I thought CR had a 'mission' feel to it.

yep, all early reviews I've read say exactly the same thing, there is no criticism of Daniel Craig, but the impression seems to be of an incoherent crash bang wallop of a film,which is all a bit worrying. Kermode is a big fan of Daniel Craig as Bond so its difficult to dismiss his passionate and negative critique of the film in that clip. I will reserve my own judgement till I see it but some of the clips I have seen and the on location documentary that was on TV the other night seemed to give the impression that the film is a trail of action pieces linked together with a weak or non existent plot. Lets see anyway.
