Jimmy Hill and Eddie Edwards

Bats.
I can't get a photo on but England goalkeeper Paul Robinson would make a good Eddie Double.

And he doesn't wear those oversized specs anymore, I think Eddie himself worked quite hard on that nerdy image. So Steve Coogan as Eddie? Yes I can see that and I don't think its that critical to look exactly like a real life character you are playing on film, the actor, whose name escapes me ,who played Kenneth Williams in the recent TV film was brilliant in the part and caught the essence of the character perfectly and he didn't look especially like Williams but it was a brilliant performance, ....otherwise......think Al Pacino as Arthur Scargill in the Comic Srips "The Strike"....superb bit of casting.
Or rather, think Peter Richardson as Al Pacino as Arthur Scargill

And it was Michael Sheen that played Kenneth Williams in Fantabulosa! (2006).
He also played Tony Blair in The Deal (2003) and The Queen (2006)

Ah yes of course, Michael Sheen, very talented actor, and wasn't Peter Richardson great as Al Pacino playing Scargill, charging around on that Harley motorcycle, great stuff, and I believe Meryl Streep played Arthur's wife

Yes, Jennifer Saunders playing Meryl Streep playing Mrs Scargill
It's generally reckoned to be one of the finest of the "Comic Strip Presents ..." series
