British actor Django Stewart was born in London and, aged 7, was removed from school by his parents to sail along the Amazon. He eventually settled in the US. His parents are Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and Siobhan Fahey of Bananarama.
Django appears as Dylan Larkin in ALL AGES NIGHT (2009) which was completed in 2007, when he was 16, and reviewed in the Los Angeles Times (18/09/07) by Patrick Goldstein.
The movie, now being shown at Film Festivals, is not yet available on DVD.
ALL AGES NIGHT depicts the way new technology dominates young people's relationships.
Freedom Girl Productions concentrates on thoughtful, low-budget movies including the award-winning short, STEALING INNOCENCE, portraying hostilities, in the Middle East, through the experiences of two girls, Rachel and Ayat, and JOEY, a documentary short about children growing up amid the gang culture of Los Angeles.
Nancy Montuori Stein's latest project is BREAD AND CIRCUSES: A FILM ABOUT OS MUTANTES.
As a musician, Django prefers to be called Django James, rather than risk gaining an advantage through his father's surname.
Django is different from spoilt contemporaries devoted to instant celebrity.
He is earning respect, on his own merits, and is already regarded as a talented actor, songwriter and vocalist.
Earlier this month, Django James and The Midnight Squires released a debut single, "Hurrican", to enthusiastic reviews.
