Optimum is releasing this excellent thriller on Nov 5th

This film was made 50 years ago and the director, both screewriters and possibly one of the producers (Thomas Clyde), the camera operator and three of the top four billed cast all survive. None, however, have been invited to participate in extra material for this release as there is not any.

If a wonderful little company like Digital Classics can produce commentaries and video interviews for their releases why can't Optimum Classics? After all, Optimum's parent company, Studio Canal, own DVD distribution rights to these films all over the world.

On 5/nov/2007,Chase a crooked shadow will be released to the dvd market by Optimum dvd releasing distributors. I have a dvd which I copy from a vhs print i purchased several years ago in the UK. That print was in good condition considering the age of the film,1957. Lets hope the dvd will be as good. This is a good film with actors from several countries. The only slight comment was Anne Baxter playing the part of a South African heiress,she is an american,and she sounded like one.
