Very welcome news and a good price as well. I got the last issue through Amazon Marketplace for around £25, I think. Any news on whether there will be extras this time around?

I was surprised by that but that's what it says at Amazon. Maybe it's a mistake and it was 2002. The 1996 ?? set is priced at a whopping 134.95.

It must be a mistake - dvds didn't appear in Europe until 1998. Maybe there was a video release in 1996. If you look at the specs in the 1996 listing, it does say 2002. But at that price, nobody is going to check

It does not say that the DVD was released in 1996 on Amazon. The release date cited is 19 August 202. 1996 is cited in the title as a reference to the year the TV series was first broadcast, as it does for the re-release.

Won't bother rebuying as it is clearly the same release as 8 years ago. That's a shame.
