I've wanted to see this for years - I do hope the DVD has at least passable picture quality.

In case anyone doesn't know as well as Eric Portman this film also features the great Wilfred Lawson

The cast are fine in this piece of Hitchcockian pastiche. The real weakness apart from the guessable final twist is Coop himself - he isn't there at all, completely non-committal (he was a dying man and he knew it at the time).

I found this (six copies altogether!) on the shelf at the HMV store in Portsmouth this afternoon - Cornerstone media, aspect ratio 1.66:1, transfer looks pretty good quality. Looks as if the release date has been brought forward?
