I see Modesty Blaise (1966) is finally getting a DVD release on 20th September. I know it doesn't have the best of reputations but its a film that I've never been able to see up until now, so I'm really curious to see it.

I know, but any film with Clive Revill in it can't be all bad.

Have you read the list of Actors appearing in this film, as listed by Amazon? Particularly the one listed after Terence Stamp. It's, apparently, the only film he's been in.

One for Barbara's lists, I think.

    Great news for me too.

No extras that I can see though, so may wait until the price comes down. Interesting castlist - who's Dork Bogarde? Bit unkind ...

It's not a great film, but from my one viewing a few years back (IIRC it turned up on FilmFour) it's certainly well worth catching - especially for Losey fans. When the price drops, I'll pick up a copy.
