That's great news, I've waited so long for this that I will wait a little longer for the price to drop. I've finally learned my lesson, "He who hesitates, saves money"

Or in my case, she who hesitates decides she's really not that bothered about watching whatever it was anyway!

Great news about Colditz. A drama I have never seen but long wanted to.

I know what you mean. I saw it the first time round and thought it was good. I was about nine then, at the age of 47 will I still like it?

Got to beware of that! Reminds me of this clip from love-him-or-hate-him-or-not-be-that-bothered-either-way-about-him Alan Davies, from about 00:20 - about 3:50.

Excellent news, now I'll get to see the full version of the Tweedledum episode. UK Gold edited it very badly and it completely lost the twist in the tale.

Loved the Alan Davies clip, it's so true and for the first time I actually laughed at/with him.

Yes, easily the best episode, along with Lord Didn't It Rain, and as you say shockingly edited on UK Gold,

Finally .. the complete versions on DVD ... what great news ... Colditz is one of the finest ever BBC series ... one of my war-time drama favourites along with Secret Army and the follow-up Kessler ...

I hope The Fourth Arm will soon follow to DVD.
