True. I buy lots of multi region stuff and don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the BBC always ignoring the UK when releasing material while favouring the USA. The release rate on Region 2 of classic BBC drama is pitiful.
It does make it a lot less accessible if people can't find an item on Amazon UK or in HMV. How many people in Britain scour through Amazon.com for news of Region 1 issues of tv drama. Hardly anyone, judging by the many reports that the Sean Connery version of Anna Karenina had recently been returned to the BBC archives, nobody having noticed that it was released on Region 1 last year![]()
