I saw it on TV in the early 80s. It was dreadful and embarrassing - avoid at all costs

Think I first (and only) saw it in the late seventies on ITV. It stinks IIRC.

Hestitate to mention it, as I saw this at the Odeon Worthing in 1974 and still recall with horror - no pun intended - what a stinker it was, but this has just been released as a Region 1 DVD through the MGM Limited Edition label (which actually comes from Fox) as an on-demand title. The US title is Old Dracula.

Maybe it will appeal to Linda Hayden/Veronica Carlson completists, but for anyone else ... you have been warned!

It was shown on Thames in 1986 in November in the early hours and possibly cut unless there were no ads run with it.

I started a new post in the Latest DVD Release thread to alert members to the new Region 1 DVD release which then got merged with Captain Haddock's original thread, and the information I supplied was repeated by the moderator who had not apparently read what I had already written.

This thread really should be called Vampira which is the original title of this British film. Old Dracula is the American title.

I see. I don't know how I missed your post, it must have been there. Haddock's post must have been a concidink.

I have not worked out how to change thread titles yet. How useless am I?
