I take it this is more about S&M and consenting adults, but the images being illegal? Friend I know who works in a nearby A&E once told me of a guy turning up nailed to a piece of wood by his bits!

The Criminal Justice and immigration Act 2008 introduces a new offence, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland of the possession of extreme pornographic images. The new offence will come into force on 26 January 2009.

This leaflet is intended to provide a general introduction to the new offence. It is aimed at those who are interested in this type of material and who wish to consider whether they should dispose of it before the Act comes into effect.

There seems to be a certain pattern to it's application but god only knows why Gordon and his morons needed yet another law.

Fox, 37, of Roydon Grove, Lincoln, admitted two charges of making a total of 7,556 indecent images of children between February 20 and September 21, 2009. He also admitted possession of ten extreme pornographic images. He was given a three year community order with supervision and is required to complete a community sexual offending group work programme. He was placed on the sex offenders' register for five years.

The 17-year-old male was consequently charged with eight counts of making indecent images, two counts of arranging or facilitating commission of a child sex offense, three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, one count of production of child pornography, and one count of possession of extreme pornography.
