i spoke to ed danziger in the 1980s and he said they closed the studio in 1961 and eventually auctioned the contents in 1965 as the demise of the b movie/support feature and rising cost of tv series meant the whole business was uneconomical. they simply could not recoup their money on a tv series unless it sold to one of the main american channels and the odds for that became something like 50/1. the studio only lasted about 5 years but was very productive and many actors inc bryan forbes, george sanders, christopher lee, pete murray etc , etc remembered it well, if not always for the right reasons :)

After much debating with myself over the cost.I acquired this.and was not disappointed. great Documentary
and 5 good films soften the blow of the Toe Curling cost. my only grievance is the 2 double sided discs.as they are easily
damaged after a few too many.

fun making these productions. Great stuff!

It's a pity the Danziger's version of Agatha Christie's Spiders Web hasn't been released - good cast in an entertaining light-comedy thriller
