I've never seen a review of this film that praises Petula Clark's performance. Yes the plot is frothy, improbable and light-hearted but personally I think she does wonderfully well in holding it together. I always find it enjoyable.

As with most Odeon transfers, this is taken from a good source print but there has been no obvious restoration so the occasional spot is still seen on the picture. Quality on this though is much better than "They were sisters" where the source print used was worse than on the VHS issue years ago.
