Deffo on my Christmas list. Looks great! All I can remember of the original run is Jack Shepherd jumping out of bed once per episode to show his bare bum. It was modern and edgy. As bums go.
Aargh! Just noticed it isn't out until after Xmas!
Very pleased to see that Network have now confirmed the release of this excellent series.

Good news especially for Graeme, it's out on Monday ( 14th November ) from the Network site.

Why don't network dvds have subtitles? Not that I need them quite yet, but I just wondered. Are they very expensive to add on?
I wouldn't mind if they were a bit rubbish. The Spanish ones on Downton Abbey veer from excellent colloquialisms to howling misunderstandings, but they're still helpful.
Teletext started around 1975 and you could call up subtitles for most drama progs even then-so I wonder if they were ever kept in a computer somewhere and therefore be used cheaply on releases today?
I think if you had SVHS you could actually record the Teletext info allong with the programme?
