Can anyone tell me why I can't get into their site. Am I doing something stupid or is my computer set up wrongly.
Everytime I try to get beyond the Home Page - even to register - it just returns me to the Home Page. Very frustrating - any help gratefully received.

Very expensive site Amazon, & play .com much better deals take this foe example
Soap box vol 1 was £27.99 plus postage on Network on amazon £23 on play .com £17 no postage
How about this for an upcoming release?!!!
Not to be confused with the Adam Smith on our £20 notes.
Great news for billy farmer, a fan of (and threadstarter for) Andrew Keir and Janet Munro.
Other highlights: Airline, Village Hall, Tales from Europe (with stories narrated by Gary Watson) and Sadie, It's Cold Outside. There are also complete series box sets for Redcap, Pardon the Expression and, at long last, The Adventures of Robin Hood. Still a ridiculous bias towards sitcoms (no idea why they should be top priority) but I'm pleased to see more single dramas turning up.
I imagine their " bias " towards sitcoms is purely a commercial decision in that they feel rightly or wrongly these will produce more revenure than drama serieshowecver at least they have made available to us some long forgotten gems

It's also presumably cheaper to negotiate the rights for a sitcom with maybe only 10 actors in 6 episodes than a series of dramas with 20 different actors in each one. (That seems to be the main reason why Radio 4 Extra don't do much archive drama)
We must just about have the entire works of Arthur Mullard released by Network now, hopefully they can now move onto some good stuff...
Yes some little while ago they listed the Anna Neagle film Limelight as " forthcoming " but then it disappeared......![]()
Network have now started to announce deletion dates, even on stuff not yet released - the aforementioned Adam Smith set is only available for a year, for instance. Is this just a sales-boosting ruse?
All web exclusives now have a final availability date although they are now 12 months as opposed to 3.
People on another forum have reported buying (very expensive) deleted Network stuff from Amazon marketplace and it being delivered in Network wrapping with Network paperwork![]()

I still cannot access this site. Something must be peculiarly set on my PC which I cannot work out SO could a kind Forum member please let me have a telephone number for them and I will have to contact them the old fashioned way.
Thanks in advance.

If still no joy then try using another browser maybe? Both links currently work fine for me on my Mac using 5 different browsers...
Haven't used them myself but this site has a lot of Network stuff at reasonable prices including the soundtrack sets, Blu-rays and supposed Network web exclusives:
Classic British Films, UK DVD Films Online, Comedy, Drama, Film, TV & Movies on DVD UK
Thanks to both crunchie and marioki. Using a dfferent browser worked - I should have thought of that! Also thanks for the link to the other site - very interesting. Thanks again.
Thanks for that. A very good storefront with a good range of seldom-seen films. As ever with these websites, though, I make a list of those films that I would be interested in buying and then check first to see if they're available elsewhere for less. Sticking the DVD tile into a Google search often throws up the same version for less money.
Try Find DVD - Compare DVD prices from dozens of UK retailers which searches most of the online retailers including Amazon, Play, HMV etc (though not ukdvdsonline or Network themselves) in one go. If you sign up (it's free) you can set up a price alert for a particular title so that when it drops below your set price you get an e-mail sent to you with a link to the site that's offering it. They also have a separate site where you can do the same for CD's, called Find-CD strangely enough and also one for books. I've been alerted to countless bargains over the years which I might otherwise have missed out on but you do have to order straight away as sometimes they're mis-prices and so won't be around for long.
Hope it works out - I know of some who've received their orders already so they seem to be OK. They must have had quite a lot of interest as titles like The Gold Robbers and the Retro Action Blu-rays have gone up by a pound or so in the last couple of days. They also have a store on e-Bay but their web site seems to be cheaper.
