So that this doesn't get lost in another thread thought I'd start one about Network issuning the Edgar Lustgarten Scotland Yard and Scales of Justice series.

Hopefully for Scotland Yard they've located the " Wall of Death " episode ( fingers crossed )

I emailed Network to find out whether they had been able to locate the extremely elusive episode of "Wall of Death" but unfortunately they replied to say they were unable to comment on the content of the Scotland Yard DVD release at present and advise that we check back on their website for updates nearer the time.

The Scotland Yard series was available in the old Rank personal projection hire catalogue.
If anybody has any old editions of the catalogue up to the 1980s it might be interesting to
know if 'the wall of death' was available there?

Was Wall of Death the episode with motor bikes going round and round at the fun fair? If so, I remember seeing that at the cinema!

I'm sure I saw this on Ch4 in the 80's and it was a late replacement for a sporting event that had finished early, possibly cricket? I remember thinking I was fortunate to have caught it at such short notice, having seen all the other instalments that they'd broadcast.

Thanks for the advance notice. Would be really great if the Wall of Death was included in the series. I note that they intend to release all of the Edgar Wallace Mysteries and all the episodes of the Human Jungle, so hopefully they will release all 39 episodes of Scotland Yard, which would obviously include the elusive Wall of Death. Fingers crossed.

Wall of Death was a favourite of the director Montgomery Tully and yes it was shown on CH4 so Network should have it!
