Default Marius Goring Scarlet Pimpernel TV series

I see that this series has been out in the US for some time on DVD.

It's available via amazon, ebay or direct from the distributor oldies.com.

Alpha's releases are variable but the TV ones are often pretty good. They released the Captain David Grief episodes which have excellent sound and picture. I have some of their US 50s series releases too and they are pretty good as well.

Here's a link to their website.

So there is still hope for a release of the TV series "SWORD OF FREEDOM" 1957 starring Edmund Purdom.

I snagged the lancelot dvd with the McGoohan episode:
The Adventures of Sir Lancelot - Volume 1 - Television on DVD (1956) Starring William Russell; Directed by Lawrence Huntington, Ralph Smart & Bernard Knowles; Alpha Video : OLDIES.com
It's adequate for the purpose but can seem quite fuzzy when people move.... The sound is slightly out of synch. too, but if you've just a pasing interest, and allow for the low price, it's okay. I doubt it would hold a candle to the re-mastered versions.
