Wonder what they've uncovered to make it a 2-disc SE?

My existing 1-disc copy has a trailer, on-set report and a brief interview with Stanley Baker.

Nice cover art tho...

From Zeta Minor:

Two-disc set featuring a play starring Stanley Baker ("Who Killed Lamb?" - sometimes regarded as part of the "Thriller" series) ; a 1965 episode of "Danger Man" starring Patrick McGoohan ("Loyalty Always Pays"); behind-the-scenes featurette and Baker newsreel footage. (All TBC)

Sounds like the extras from the previous dvd and some miscellaneous material. Bit of a jib in truth.

Yersss....

Glad I didn't go off and order this one. This seems to be Network's new hobby - sticking an episode of an already released series (with a particular player in it) as an extra.

But, on the other side of things, they do occasionally put out a 'proper' extra which then makes you want to see the rest of the series from which it comes ; as in the Nigel Green/Yootha Joyce episode of CONCEPTIONS OF MURDER they put out on their COUNTESS DRACULA SE.

Some of their archive interview snippets are good too.

If anybody who doesn't yet have HELL DRIVERS buys it, I would be interested to know if the featurette and SB interview ARE the same as on the earlier SE...

Morning Jim !

There are some (vague) film & TV connections here, I assure you.

On the left is our late and much lamented tomcat, Mr Steed, AKA The Stig - a nickname he acquired after he used to love foraging round the compost heap at the bottom of the garden (i.e. Stig Of The Dump !)

He passed away last October, but his twin sister, Tara, is still with us. When we got their first tags inscribed as kittens some 15+ years ago, the bloke in the shop instantly recognised THE AVENGERS connection.

On the right is Hepworth. He was meant to be a draught excluder, but ended up on the back of the sofa, where Stig used to snuggle up with him - I swear he thought it was a real cat. Hepworth is so called as he was bought in a sale at Beales department store, in Walton-on-Thames.

Beales stands on Hepworth Way, on the site of the old Walton Film Studios, so when Mrs. Smudge decided we should keep him as a 'cuddly' rather than an excluder, he was christened after his roots and that pioneer of British cinema.

Here's Stig with his mate Nigel the dragon :

Has anyone actually bought the new addition yet? I'm a huge fan of Stanley Baker, but I've already got the old version and I've already got Who Killed Lamb from network's Thriller megaset, so the extra-extras will have to be really impressive.

Who on earth has done the audio commentary? Doris Stokes?
