The One That Got Away (1957) - Britmovie

This film has seemingly been released three times on DVD, by ITV, DD and Network. Can anyone confirm if they all derive from the same widescreen (non-anamorphic) master, and share a similar dearth of extras?

If so, I imagine the version on offer is the abridged one, which is what I've always seen on TV and last viewed at the Imperial War Museum. I don't know what the differences are between the two versions of the film, nor why it was ever deemed necessary to shorten it, as it was never a particularly long film. I wonder if there's any chance of the full version ever being seen again as sadly there doesn't seem to be widespread interest in such films? I regret not asking Roy Ward Baker about it when I was seated next to him at Val Guest's Guardian Lecture at the NFT a few years back.
