Default Park Plaza 605/Blackout

Also in May Odeon are apparently releasing Blackout starring a certain Maxwell Reed!

Start every day with a smile and get it over with.

What a great cover! Park Plaza 605 is a good film.

I read somewhere that the Blackout release is to be as a 'double feature' with Bond of Fear, but it didn't say when it was due to come out. Cheers Joe!

What a great year for Max fans .... The Square Ring and then Blackout.

Park Plaza 605 (1953)

Blackout (1950)

Bond of Fear (1956)

The Square Ring (1953)

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

Ah crap! That's one movie I was looking for for many years and when I found out the title ect through this brilliant site on a previous question asked, I bought the vhs thinking it would never be released.

Oh well. Enjoy a great B movie classic those that have yet to discover it.

The Man On The Eiffel Tower is a good film, it features Charles Laughton as Maigret. However, I have two copies of this already and both prints are atrocious, mainly due to the deterioration of the colour process that was used. Fingers crossed for this edition.

They Made Me A Fugitive is another good one. I haven't seen Time Without Pity so am looking forward to that one too.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

'Time Without Pity' is a sometimes overheated capital punishment melodrama from Joe Losey, but I find Redgrave is always watchable, and McKern makes a brilliantly nasty villain.

I just noticed that Sid James has suddenly become the star of Park Plaza 605.
