I had no idea this was a Jacques Demy film. I remember buying the video when I was a kid, and I always just assumed it was some really cheap, obscure film. Demy's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg is one of my favourite movies.

I will be getting this one! I love Donovan, I listen to him all the time in the car. On my CD player, not as a passenger obviously

Just wondering, is the story of the pied piper true, where does it origionate from? Some say it is sinister, about kidnapping children but some say it is about the plague.

Does anyone know?
