Default A nice collector's item for Lionel Jeffries fans - "FANNY"
Not a British Film but a good one and with a very nice performance from Lionel Jeffries. He's the only Englishman in a very Continental cast. It's a Region 1 release scheduled for June 17.

Speaking of Lionel Jeffries, the wave of sympathy was palpable at last Sunday's Bryan Forbes event at Elstree, when LJ apologised for having to send a printed message of goodwill, due to the effects of two recent strokes on his handwriting...

Sympathy is the word. I suppose we could take it as good news that after two strokes he's still able to respond and communicate. Let's just hope the loss of his handwriting ability is the worst of it.
