Really useful for those of us out of the various loops to learn what is available BUT check the internet sites before you buy as, at the very least, the main internet stores send post free.
Radio Times for non Sky Freeview and Freesat people, IMO, is the best listings mag by far.

The Special Edition DVD of Antlers of Reason is now available to purchase online!

Proudly self-labelled as an erotic mystery tale, this is old-fashioned Cinema with comic-strip touches. With both European exploitation and art-house roots acknowledged from the outset, we move into the slow-burning world of Anna and her progressive moral transgression. It’s a fragmented existence, punctuated with glimpses of illicit behaviour and of a violent attack which leaves her temporarily disfigured – all tying in with the damaging effects of the mysterious disappearance of her mother during her childhood.
Controversial and, at times, perplexing this is a must-see for all of those searching for authenticity.
Psychological study meets mythological past by means of a destructive sexual affair.

It’s out now and can be ordered on Captüra Filmes and other selected online venues.

Anyone want to buy a 2nd hand lawn mower? . . . Oh, sorry, this isn't the section for blatant self-promotion - my mistake.

You're right sipdog. The above poster has confused us with the British Video Forum. The self-promotion has given me a giggle though. Talk about disillusions of grandeur. It's not "old fashioned cinema" because it isn't cinema at all. It's a video.

Mallee

The only problem with having an open mind is that others keep trying to put things in it...

Just had A 2 disc edition of the uncut full version of A CANTERBURY TALE A very nice transfer with excellent restoration work, the extras disc has a a couple of interesting items especially one, that is looking at the sites used in the film as they are today. Released by Criterion in the states, the English version I believe is the cut version, paid £20-68 inc P&P. Another Powell an Pressburger gem under their Archers Banner.
